Special Events

Here at Combs Ford Primary we have lots of special events throughout the year.  Some are for particular year groups and others are for the whole school.  We hope you enjoy finding out about some of our recent special events!  Underneath here are links to some of the previous special events we have held in school.

During the Summer term 2015, our Choir were very busy, including a performance in Stowmarket in aid of raising funds for the new play area. This was a great success - well done to everyone for giving up their Sunday afternoon!

During the Autumn Term 2015, the children in Upper Key Stage 2 had visits from our local PSCOs who helped them to learn lots of safety tips when riding their bikes out and about on the roads.

We have also been raising money for St Mary's Church roof, to help replace the stolen lead. Together, during the Autumn 2015 term we have managed to raise £746.52 for this fund, so a huge well done to everyone!

We are now collecting for a school in Uganda to help provide the children there with the sorts of resources that we have in our own school!

In February 2016 the children in Reception and Key Stage 1 had a visit from a child's author, who not only read to them but also discussed how to create a really exciting story!

Key Stage 1 also had a visit from the Fire Brigade in February - they came along as part of the children's topic on the Fire of London!
